Getting Your Client's Voice App Live
The process of activating a voice app through the uVAAP program is straightforward:
Follow these steps to get your client's voice application set up through the uVAAP program:
Initiate in Umbrella Dashboard: Log in to your Umbrella Dashboard.
Create/Select Contact: Navigate to 'Contacts' and either create a new contact for your client or select their existing profile.
Add Product: Within the client's contact profile, click to add a new product and select "Voice Apps"
Complete Forms: Carefully fill out all the required information requested in the intake forms presented during the product addition process. This information is crucial for building the voice app correctly.
Submit & Handover: Once you submit the completed forms, the process is handed over to the specialized uVAAP team.
uVAAP Team Takes Over: The uVAAP team handles the subsequent development, configuration, verification with voice platforms (like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant), and implementation of the voice app.
Activation Timeline: It typically takes approximately 14 days from the time the uVAAP team begins work (after your submission) for the new voice app to be fully configured, verified, and become live.
Notification: You (the Umbrella members) will receive an email notification as soon as the client's voice app is live and ready to use.
