Setting up a new client for the uMNM service is a structured process designed to ensure accuracy and effectiveness from the start. Follow these steps carefully:
Create Client Contact in Umbrella Dashboard:
Log in to your Umbrella Dashboard.
Navigate to the "Contacts" section.
Add a new contact, entering the client's name, email, and essential business information.
Add the uMNM Product (Local Signal Boost):
Select the client contact you just created.
Click the "+ Add a new product" button.
Choose "Local Signal Boost" from the available products.
Select Required & Recommended Optimizations:
During the product addition process, you must select the "Google Business Profile optimization" ($50 one-time wholesale fee). This is non-negotiable for campaign success.
You will also have the option to select the "Website Optimization" bundle ($150 one-time wholesale fee, which includes the GBP optimization). This is highly recommended for faster and better results.
Configure Pricing and Choose Billing Method:
Enter the recurring monthly fee and the one-time optimization fees you intend to charge the client.
Enter your retail price
Complete the Intake Form & Enter the GMB Client ID (CID):
Accurately fill in all required business details in the intake form presented during setup. This information must precisely match the client's live Google Business Profile.
Obtain and enter the correct GMB Client ID (CID): This unique identifier is critical for targeting the right profile.
How to Find the CID:
Google: Search [Business Name] [Location].
Click on the “Maps” tab in Google
Copy URL: Grab the full Maps URL from your browser's address bar.
CID Finder: Go to cidfinder.com
Paste & Get: Paste the URL, click "Get CID."
Input Initial Keywords:
Enter a starting list of up to 7 keywords
Start with the client's main GMB category and variations. Include "near me" and city name variations. Also, check the client's website for important service keywords. A good format includes:
GBP Category (e.g., Roofer)
GBP Category + near me (e.g., Roofer near me)
GBP Category + City (e.g., Roofer Dallas)
Main Service Keyword (e.g., Roof repair)
Main Service Keyword + near me (e.g., Roof repair near me)
Main Service Keyword + City (e.g., Roof repair Dallas)
Another relevant service variation.
Ensure keywords exist on the client's website (ideally in page titles/URLs) for better results.
Process Payment:
Ensure the payment for the subscription and optimization fees is completed.
If Umbrella is billing, an invoice will be sent to the client for secure payment via Stripe.
If you are handling billing, ensure your payment method is on file with Umbrella for the wholesale charges.
The campaign subscription only becomes active after successful payment.
Access Signal Boost Platform & Initiate Analysis:
Once payment is confirmed and the subscription is active, go to the client’s contact page in your Umbrella Dashboard.
Under the “Local Signal Boost” product entry, click “View”, then click “Log in to Signal Boost” to access the campaign management tool.
Initiate Keyword Analysis:
In the Signal Boost dashboard, locate your client’s campaign under the “Analysis Completed” section.
Submit the campaign for its initial keyword analysis.
Launch the Campaign.
After reviewing the suggested keywords with your client and agreeing on the final set, click the “Start Campaign” button inside the Signal Boost platform.
This begins the ongoing signal generation and optimization process. You can monitor progress weekly through the platform.
