Flash Responses are quick reply templates that help you reply faster, more consistently, and with less typing. They’re especially useful for teams managing multiple chats or when training new agents.
Flash Responses are pre-written message templates that can be inserted instantly into any live conversation. Each one includes:
A Short Name (e.g., /Pricing)
A Full Text response
A Shared toggle to make it available to all agents
Once created, agents can type the short name in a conversation, and the system will auto-insert the full response.
To create a Flash Response:
Go to the Flash Responses tab (chat bubble icon on the left menu)
Click + New Flash Response
Enter a short name that starts with a slash (e.g., /FreeTrial)
Write the full message you want to reuse
Turn Shared ON if you want others to use it
Click Add to save
To use a Flash Response in chat: just type the short name (e.g., /Pricing) and hit enter.
Keep short names simple and easy to remember
Use them for common questions like pricing, setup instructions, or contact info
Regularly update shared responses to ensure consistency across the team
Don’t overdo it—use Flash Responses for clarity, not to sound robotic
