If you need to grant access to additional team members or clients, you can add users directly from the Yext Dashboard.
Log in to the Umbrella Dashboard.
Find the client in the Contact section and click “View”
Select the “Login” option.
Locate the client or campaign and click “View Customer’s Dashboard.”
This will open the Yext Dashboard for that specific client.
In the Yext Dashboard, navigate to the left-hand menu and select “Account Settings” > “Users.”
Click the “+ Add User” button.
Fill out the following information:
Name
Email Address
Choose a User Role (Admin, Marketing, Billing, etc.)
Click “Send Invitation.”
The new user will receive an email invitation to access the dashboard with the assigned permissions.
Note: You can also edit or remove users at any time from the same Users section in the Yext Dashboard.
How to Change User Permissions or Roles
If a user needs different access levels (e.g., switching from Viewer to Admin), you can easily update their role in the Yext Dashboard.
Log in as explained above
In the Yext Dashboard, go to “Account Settings” > “Users.”
Locate the user whose permissions you want to modify.
Click the pencil/edit icon next to their name.
In the role dropdown menu, select the new role you wish to assign (Admin, Marketing, Billing, etc.).
Click “Save” to apply the changes.
Changes take effect immediately, and the user will be notified via email if their access level was updated.
