Taxes (1099 Forms)
Receiving a 1099: If your total payouts from Umbrella exceed $600 in a calendar year, Umbrella can issue you a 1099 form (for US-based members).
Required Documentation: You must upload a completed W-9 form (or W-8BEN for non-US members) to your dashboard:
Go to Account -> Documents.
Select 'W-9 / W-8BEN' from the right-side menu.
Download the blank form, fill it out completely.
Click 'Add Document' and upload the completed form.
